A Typical Sunday

By coming to Waterfront Community Church, you will see we are a mixed group of people of different ages, experiences and backgrounds, but with one thing in common - our love of Christ.

Sunday Morning

Our main service is at 10:30am and usually finishes around midday, followed by free tea and coffee and fellowship in Juniper Tree cafe.

During the morning service a creche operates where parents can take their children and they can enjoy some play time.

For children aged 4 and over, Junior Church is an option. The children are told when they can leave the main hall, which is usually when the preacher gets up to speak.

Often the Sunday mornings will include a time where we celebrate communion together. On most Sunday mornings, opportunity is given at the end of the service for anyone wishing to be prayed for.

Sunday Afternoon

Waterfront Korean Church service starts at 2pm and usually lasts 1 hour.

Sunday Evening

Our Sunday evening service is at 6pm and is open to everyone.

Housekeeping

We have ample car parking available for all services.

On Sundays, you are able to park at the Village Hotel, as well as the car park at Parkway Dental Clinic, which is adjacent to the Church itself. If you use the car park at the Dental Surgery, you will need to ask one of the 'Welcoming Team' for a car parking permit for you to display in full view in the windscreen of your vehicle.

Worship

The music has a modern edge, but is likely to be a mix of new worship songs and some more well-known traditional hymms.

The People

Young families, childen, youth, students, middle-aged and the young at heart! We are a body of all ages and experiences.

Dress code

There is no dress code! Some prefer to turn up in smart clothes, others prefer a hoody and jeans - it's whatever you feel most comfortable in.
