Waterfront Community Church believes in working for God's Kingdom. One way we do this is by helping those around us, whether that be assisting homeless people in our city or by donating clothes to countries around the world.

Action Overseas

Waterfront Community Church supports the work of Action Overseas, the missionary arm of the Apostolic Church in the UK.

Helping at home

Swansea Homeless Ministry meet every Friday night in Swansea City Centre to attend to the spiritual and physical needs of those who are living without hope and in poverty.
People become homeless for many different reasons such as losing a job, a relationship breakdown, mental or physical health problems or substance abuse and our vision is to see lives changed through the hope found in Jesus Christ.
We follow the principles of Christ's teaching, to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked and to provide shelter for the poor wanderer. In all this we want them to know the love of Jesus so that they will be free from the bondages in their lives.
Each week we take food and clothes and we also support those without a home to find temporary shelter. Our volunteers are from Waterfront Community Church and other local churches and we all have the same heart which is to take Jesus to those who are broken.
Jesus had a heart for the poor and repeatedly reached out to those who were in need and we must do the same.
"For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in."
Matthew 25:35
